In response to the rapidly changing skills landscape, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, in cooperation with the Human Capability Development Program, has developed the Skills Accelerator Initiative, a national initiative aimed at raising the efficiency of Saudi employees in priority sectors that contribute significantly to improving productivity , through several training and development solutions and programs designed according to the highest standards to raise their skills and enable them to perform their work professionally.

The Sectoral Skills Councils operate as a diverse and flexible system focused on bridging skills gaps, through collecting and building standardized information on sectors and skills, developing a skills framework/professional standards, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders in the ecosystem on interventions aimed at skills development.

Al-Rajhi launches the “National Skills Platform”

Under the leadership of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s Gulf Skills Team, the Ministry held a workshop for the Skills Monitoring and Foresight Initiative for the labor markets in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
